Christmas is coming and soon New Year!!

So, Christmas will be coming shortly and I am hoping this holiday season will end. Not that I hate Christmas, it's just that part of my money goes into buying supplies and making them and also the fact that I have not made any sale so far, is making me even MORE BROKE!

However, I have been trying to figure out what kind of items I can recycle to make them look brand new and perfect as a Xmas gift! But anyway, I have been recycling those old Christmas cards and updating them a bit, looking fresh as ever! :)

I'm looking forward to the NEW YEAR though. 2007 has not been the best year for me apart from having my lovely families intact of course. And the friendship I have and made new ones. My darling little big daughter. The progress of my inventive mind making more creative and innovative products.

What I'm looking forward to 2008 is the old me but with a much more bit of spice!

Here is what I'm planning to do (in no particular order):

1) Stop disliking and start loving more
2) Stop being sad and be happy instead
3) enjoy food, live life to the fullest and be merry (sounds so much like christmas LOL)
4) Stop being lazy and start BEING MORE PRODUCTIVE
5) Staying a healthy and fit life
6) Keep BLOG updated every week or every 2 weeks at least!
7) Stop feeling sorry for myself
8) Stop being grumpy miss polly molly silly solly
9) Keep ETSY shop updated-(old etsy will be closed and new one will be opening soon with a fresh new--all shall be revealed once i have done preparation etc for it)
10) Keep making more and more amazing things
11) Recycle MORE than usual
12) Conserve energy and water
13) Stop being a follower and start being a leader!
14) QUIT BEING SENSITIVE AND JUST CHILL!!
15) PATIENCE IS EVERY PERSON"S VIRTUE (i need to be more patience)
16) SAVE UP MORE instead of SPENDING
17) Don't be afraid of the number 26 in JULY 2008!! (that's how OLD I'll be!!!! yikes!!) Young I mean hehehe
18) Follow DREAMS and ignore the nightmares.
19)Stop judging people (you know the little voices in your head??? yup, going to have to control it..but judge in a good way not a bad way)
20) Live each day as though it is my last day--do good things for myself and let myself shine to others and also, be nice to everyone no matter how negative they can be.

I have not been updating my etsy shop nor have I put that many pictures in my Flickr either. But I have been making a load of new samples and been sewing plenty of new old things and recycling some clothes as well, so I am definitely looking forward to 2008.

Rescued and Restored Antique Style Brass Pendant

Here is a Before and After shot of the pendant I was working on. I felt completely proud of what I have achieved for this particular piece.

I got these pendants from a flea market at a really bargain price too. Anyway, what I used for the newly made pendant are GENUINE, 100% Swarovski crystal rhinestones and two fresh water Pearls. Now,doesn't the pendant look so amazing!?! It also comes with a gold woven style chain. Simply perfect!

I thought I'd share my latest work. I just finished working on another piece which I shall post in here shortly.

La di da dee dah

So, it has come to my conclusion to not type in the title "Been awhile..". It just sounds too boring, especially when I constantly do it all the time in here.
And yes, it surely has been a while since I last logged into this blog. I seem to be more busier these days, with university applications, job applications, brainstorming what to make for this autumn and winter collection and basically, looking after myself (health wise) and also, chasing after my hyperactive daughter that I have!!! (and I am typing this in one big breath!) Okay, I should have a rest now.

You probably have noticed that I hardly ever post any pictures. I have my reasons but I will post pictures of my new works. I have made some fantastic ones. I finally came up with ideas. I reckon if I tried to hard to make something, it never works out, but if I make something without thinking too much about what I should make, it eventually takes the toll.

I also thought of posting a little bit of something in here. I do apologize for not being that excellent in the blogging department, but you will be hearing a lot from me once I have fully sort my life out.

You're tagged!

So, I've been tagged. My middle name is Maria. So, I've called myself Mimi because it just too cute. Okay, I'm so unimaginative.

The Rules:
1. If you are tagged, add a new post. Add these rules to that post.
2. Using the individual letters of your middle name, list one word and provide the relating fact. These facts must be relevant to you. If you don't have a middle name, then pick a name you would like to be called.
3. Once you've finished your post, tag one person for each letter of your middle name to play and share the meme-love!

Happy meme-ing!

"ABC"

(Listening to Michael Jackson's album)

Anyway, last week has come and gone. So many things has happened. Many thoughts shared. Some were bad thoughts, others not so bad. I have not even made anything creative, so I definitely had a crappy week. I really don't know why. It must be PMS...yes, steer clear! I'm alright now. I just had a glass of orange juice and a bit of sugar to dose up my hyperness appetite.

I tried not to think of my crappiness, so instead I made the most of my week. A friend of mine who went to the same high school as me back in Adelaide, SA visited. We had a lovely time catching up, doing a bit of shopping here and there and everywhere. I even got a break from being a 24/7 full-time mum and adventuring into the night life in KL. We went to Cynna and it was fabulous!!

The dancing was awesome..music was good..drinks were sweet...people were nice and friends were great! ;)

I almost forgot how to enjoy myself while in the process of marriage and having a child. It took some time, a few minutes or so to adjust to the mood. But when I got into the groove, there was no stopping! I just had to move and swing and jump, do whatever to forget what I was thinking about. I felt free and over-joyed. It was completely overwhelming.

However, I did miss my little Baby Boo....she was a good cheeky monkee :) I wish I could take her with me, but then she'd not want to sleep and run around like a little lost puppy. She's such a sweetie I must admit :)

One night of boogie was great. This will definitely make up for the next few months of me not doing so. I made the most of it. Every itsy-bitsy bits.

Okay, I must be off as tomorrow I have an early start. It's good to be back into blogging.

Everyone, please lend me your ears

I did not mean physically, but it would be nice if you could check this amazing, cool music out. The genre is somewhere in the pop/rock area, but it's undecisive. You could decide for yourself. It's something different and I am liking it very much. The songs I mean.

How you can do it? Just follow the banner below and listen to the music. Simple as ABC! =)
Do tell me what you think as I am entering the contest and the more people I get, chances are, I may win. But hey, I'm just out here to help promote this artist.

Here is also a glimpse of what I got from YouTube which is an ACE studio performance of his song "Moving Times" by Emzy Collins. Gosh, his voice is amazing isn't it!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pFH4_51rok

Okay, I got to run. But do leave me a comment or if you have questions etc, please ask away!!!

By the way,if you want to purchase the album, my referral code is Maz0816.

Work in Progress

So, I have not been around since my last post. Well, I am currently making more new funky jewelleries or jewelries to fill your eyes and bellies with content. Okay, they are not edible but close to being so anyway :) Maybe I should have typed your hearts instead of bellies. Does that sound better??

Anyway, if you want to view some new work of mine, do visit my flickr.

It's BEEN A LONG.......

...time since I blogged in here. I do apologise for my disappearance. And please, if it does happen again and again, you will already know that I'm either away, or just simply busy.

The good news is I have been making jewelleries. I've made a few pieces of earrings, 3 necklaces of which 1 my bumble bee decided to break. Luckily, she gave the beads to me. Smart little cookie! I'm planning to go to Cottage Patch (a shop of sewing materials) today to get some little bits and pieces. I've run out of felt and cotton fabrics as I am planning to organize a jewellery tea party for the ladies and gents if interested. Undecided though as unsure how many I'll end up making, whether or not I have ample time to do so (which I think I should have).

Apart from that, since my last blog, I've been away enjoying my few days in Bali, Indonesia. It was so much fun. I really enjoyed it. There were so many bead shops around. I went to one and was totally balistic. I was ALL BONKERS and gone GAGA. I wished I could live in a room full of beads and never have to go to the shop again, but then where's the thrill in not going to one?? I might just as well sell beads hey! :)

Okay, that is all from moi. Adios! Sayonara! Au Revoir!

Sunday 8 July 2007

Okay, somehow or rather I can't seem to type a title so I'm just going to have to leave it blank until I figure out the situation.

Anyway, home sweet home is grrrreat! (I sound like that Frosties tiger in the AD) I have not been able to spend a huge amount of time like I have been blogging away when I was in UK. It's the fact that I did not bring my laptop home with me due to the fact that I am purchasing a new one! I'm still deciding to either get a Mac Book or the Mac Book Pro. Hmmm, I'm also thinking of getting a computerized sewing machine since it's cheap here and also, a lot of other little bits.

I have been getting over the jet-lags for a week, so I'm on the roll. Hopefully, you'll be seeing more of my new creations i.e. if I don't ENJOY TOO MUCH of my holiday!! ;)

Another reason as to why I have not been having time to blog is also running after my little bumble bee who runs around the house. One more thing...busy-ness. It drives me NUTS but at the same I'm enjoying it! Hey, I seriously do!

I thought I would type a little note to let whoever is reading this know I'm alive and enjoying myself too much that I have not been creating and making things. Well, I have been imagining ideas etc etc so I've not fully shut down my whole creativity part of the brain.

Ok, it is late. So, off to bed!

TOODLES ;) (gosh, I sound like a child- so immature for a 25 yr old!)

Back at home

Oh yes, I'm home!!! But not for good. Only a couple of months. Tops! Anyway, I only have a few items which I'm selling in my shop as I could not take all of my stuff with me due to weight limit for baggage.

I'll be producing more items though which I'll be selling from here (Malaysia).

If you have queries, please do not hesitate to contact me! Take it easy all :)

Go Make Stuff!

I got to make me some more lovely stuff! Will be back soon! ;)

Tea and cupcakes in Paris....

I'm just imagining being in Paris, wearing a lovely summer floaty dress, while listening to CARLA BRUNI, enjoying a nice cup of tea and some yummy cupcakes! :)

Anyway, you have to get the new Carla Bruni album called "No Promises". She's from France. All the songs are sung in English with a twist of French style music. I love the strumming and the sound of the guitar. It's basically a feel good music, very relaxing.

Good music for when you just want to lie and read a book or have a nice warm bubble bath.

But I think tea and cupcakes in Paris is still zee best! ;)

Mind's a blank....

These days my mind seems to a never ending blank of nothingness. When I put words into speech, I forget totally what to say. It's quite bizarre though. When I was a child, I'd correct my mummy and daddy when they say the wrong words, even though I still do it now, it's lessen.

Anyway, moving on to other things. I had a terrific time last week, as a wonderfully, brilliant friend came for a visit all the way from Australia, via Russia ;) We did the whole shebang of going around London, well, not really, apart from walking from Hyde Park (Bayswater end) to Buckingham Palace :) nice one and my daughter, not once did she make such a fuss apart from when she was really tired, but with the loud buzzing of motor vehicles, that sort of deafened her screams. She eventually fall to sleep though which was such a relieve for me. I was still feeling tired as ever, due to the fact that bubba was unwell for the past few days and she did not sleep one whole night so I did not get sleep either! :( Yes, poor us.
But, going back on track.

Sunday, friend arrived, we picked her up from airport, then freshened up when arrived home, after I put bubba to bed, friend and I went for a walk, showed her around. And we had dinner.

Monday, we went out early for brunch. Bubba enjoyed her day eventhough it was terribly wet! That same day, we invited my other friend V and her daughter H to come over, so we enjoyed a movie (The Holiday) and some choccies from Russia. However, the same night bubba got fever, so there was no rest for either of us (me & bub).

Tues- I did nothing but rest. However, my friend S, did the whole tour thingy with the tour bus, so she managed to take lots of photos etc. Pity I missed out, really wanted to join in but was so tired!!

Wed-I was less tired. Managed to get some sleep and so did bubba. S, me and Bub went to Buckingham palace. We walked by foot while I pushed bub in her pram (lucky chickadee!) Weather was slightly better, but was still a bit went. When we got to palace, we managed to squeeze in to have a tour around the stables and got a tour guide and he showed us around which was really awesome. My first time doing this. Pity, we could not tour around in the palace itself. That would have be terrific. Oh well, maybe when we get back from holidays. That particular tour happens to take place between Aug to Sept (if anyone is interested!)

That same day, we went to Dorchester Hotel, to see if we could enjoy some scones and tea, but to our surprise, not really surprised, (hey, its dorchester hotel!) the place was over-booked, so we decided to headout and walked towards Oxford St instead. On our way, we stopped at Marriot, lucky by that time, bub has finally got over her moodiness and fell asleep so we (S & me) got to enjoy our scones and tea. Yum! After that, we went to O street. Got into Primark (dont go there in the weekend---)and I managed to buy a cute top/mini dress.

The same night, I fed Bub some milk, then S and me got ready to go out. We had a massive night and the red bull really done my head. We went to a pub (forgot the name now) Alfred something. Well, it's opp Boots store. Then we went to NUMBER ONE to dance the night away. Really enjoyed myself.

Thursday
-- did nothing. We stayed in and rest. I dyed my hair Watermelon Red, S helped as well. Then we went for early dinner and got a video. The food did not energise us though, DH and I watched Pursuit of Happyness while S went to sleep (she really needed it!)

Friday--S left for Germany...boo hoo hoooo

Oh well, as for what I did, I went to Nando's for dinner with a couple of friends, then to Portobello Market on Saturday after lunch. Was lovely. Bubba enjoy the markets and the crowds too. My friends helped me as well which was great. I got lots of lovely things and now, I want to sell off my handy work stuff so I can make more $$$ and go back to market and buy more lovely brilliant things :)

Sunday--family day

So, that's it for now. Til next time! ;)

Recycled Plastic Shopping Bags

Okay, they may be useless to most people, but for some people, they make well use of them! I don't mean putting them in the recycling bin. I mean using them for craft work, etc. I present you ARNY Boutique -"fun, flirty, unique and extraordnary".

Those of you who crochet and do use these material to make something out of it, would possibly know. However, the rest of you who are against shopping bags, think twice about what it can be used for. And yes, those items in the pictures were hand crocheted.

Arny makes a variety and not just bags. She makes cotton totes, jewelleries, accessories, handbags, etc.

Arny handmake other items if you are interested and if you like to purchase that One of a Kind recycled plastic "bags",earrings and plenty more, feel free to check out- http://arnym.etsy.com

Good News, Bad News

Sad but true that I'm closing down my website. It's due to the fact that since I've discovered blogging as well as ETSY, they have been my two most focused things I have been working closely on, typing stuff, listing stuff etc...oh and not forgetting Flickr either.

I do feel terrible that I have to do it, but it take too much time now that I have such a ROBUST baby who wants every attention. Even though I have the time to make stuff as well as blogging and listing on etsy, I still have to make time for family too so I need to cut down a few things. I love being on ETSY and I heart blogging, so I think they're enough for me to do more promoting on my creativeness.

Well that's the bad news, but you know the good news, don't you! ;) Cheeky. I know, it's very much a predictable thing and yes, I will either list to sell my handmade items on here and mostly in my etsy shop too.

I have actually been procrastinating for the past few weeks to list stuff in my website, but like I mentioned, takes too much time. And I have been neglecting my website. However, I will have my own website one of these days, once I am more settled. May take quite a while though.

Another good news is that I will be having a new recycled clothing label coming...I can't reveal it just yet, but it's more to promote old clothes I'll be recycling, revamping them as well as do extra work on them. I'm hoping to work with bigger sizes too, so there'll be a variety. But, I am doing that slowly. Right now, I want to focus on what I'm doing/making. Basically, just taking it easy and go with the flow. No rush, really.

All will be revealed :) Look forward to blogging more this week. Later!

Monday 30 April 2007

Oh Oh Oh OH

Okay, you can ignore the title...lol I was just listening to THE SOUNDS and singing to it too..not loudly of course. Gosh, my voice doesnt sound good when I sing...terrible I say.
But anyway, just thought I'd share with you what I have made. This first picture, I made for my sister..I called it "Pink and Punk Black Hearts". Something about pink and black, always reminds me of pop punk for some reason.

What do you think? I can custom make using a variation of colours of beads to match with these black catseye heart shaped beads.
Then I have these other ones......here they come in style!! ;)

This is the dice revolution!! And there's more!!! ;D

Comes with a pair of earrings and..... (I am wasting a lot of precious space aren't I?) lol Well, this is a set which I made (without the ring..not enough of these dice beads) I made the bracelet memory wire,

I made the earrings using wire and the pendant......(below) was made using wire as well and lots of creativity happening too! Now, we go to the finale of this particular pieces taken together as a family set (without the ring) down below.
And I call this "It's a Dice World Out There"

Website update

Okay, since being so hyped out about Etsy, I have finally updated my website. Some pics are the same, but I have listed a few other new things. Two to be precise. And yes, I do custom made for those memory wire bracelets, apart from Summer Fling as there are only 4 available. Yes, out of colourful beads I must admit.

But do not worry, I still have plenty more photos needed to be taken of some new things I have made and will list them shortly on my website as well. So, keep on checking. If in doubt or have questions which need answers, please do not hesitate to e-mail me.

By the way, if you would like me to list some of your works either on my website, or in my etsy shop, let me know as well.

Speak soon!

The Summer Flings bracelets

Don't you love these bubbleliciously bright chunky memory wire bracelets!?! They are all splendid and no two are alike. Obviously some of the beads are the same in patterns or shapes. However, each one of them are totally unique! Perfect for young girls or even those women who oves brilliant, bright colours! ;) And I call them 'Summer Fling' bracelets. They are listed in my etsy shop. I only have four of them, so hurry, while stocks last.

Lovely pictures

Isn't this beautiful?? Taken when walking in Hyde Park.

It was a lovely day as well.

There you go. Some lovely pictures for you to embrace, to adorn, to make you feel good :)

Mad Over Memory Wires!!

Yes, they're my new favourite springy wire to work with! They are best to use when you have plenty of leftover seed beads and other beads, you need to get rid off. I have made 9 memory wire bracelets/bangles, 1 last night and 2 today. I have so many more seed beads and other beads so still planning what other colours I can use to mix them with.

Once you get into this MEMORY WIRE hype, there's not stopping at all!

I gave it a try with the RED NOSE DAY (charity) one, and then I thought, "my these memory wires are so fun to work with! I just have to make more!" =)

Very, very addictive, and fellow beaders who work with memory wires..tell me you agree with me ;)

I reckon when I've finishe using up the memory wires for bracelet making, I'm going to get the ones for necklaces and rings.
Enjoy the photos! =)

Wednesday 11 April 2007

..eyes and whiskers

One of my other appliques collection. The first recycled clothing I worked on with the butterfly applique was a hit, so I decided to do another one. Yes, handsewn too. And there's more! See below ;)
This is the back part of the top. What do you think?

I have listed this one in my Etsy shop as well. So check it out. And if you want more description on materials used etc.

Charity shops are awesome!

One thing I love about charity shopping is that you can always find something interesting and amazing there. Plus, lots of bargain items. I recently got a light long coat for only 8 pounds! It's a second hand one of course. But still a great find! And it's black, so I have something I can wear out during night times..not that I don't wear it in the day time anyway hehehe

I recently gave away some of the jewelleries which I made that never got sold. Plus, the money goes to charity, so why not!

Sunday 1 April 2007

Warm, Windy Weekend

It's been such a wonderful weekend despite the windiness. It's not the usual winter, although you do know it is spring, as it's the time when flowers begin to bloom, animals are going hay wire crazy..basically becoming broody too. So reminds me of Bambi LOL.
Last night was so weird. Not bad weird. Simply weird. If you get what I mean. Basically, in between good and bad weirdness.
Anyway, a friend of mine came over for a visit. We (DH, friend & I) had fish and chips for early dinner, while I feed bumble bee her din din too. After that, Friend and me decided to go for a walk, despite the weather. It was not bad though. We firstly went to HMV, I got a cd and a dvd for DH (not surprising), then went to Books Etc. (thats the name of book store) and I got this awesome book about reworking, reconstructing, deconstructing with t-shirts. I also need it as reference and give me some inspiration. One thing good about Spring I like I can go out for longer and find inspirations, not that I don't in winter. LOL. (Sorry, I'm blabbing away)

Oh well, after the walk, on my way back home, some guy just out of the blue said Hi to me. I automatically had to say Hi..or I think we just exchanged smiles back at each other. He was not bad looking for a guy..but then I was like.."okay, you're married!" But no harm in looking though..hehe (so that was the weirdness...a guy saying hi to me at 9pm!) Could have possibly been a backpacker..since staying in a backpacking hostel/motel type thing.
As for today (sunday), DH and I took bumble bee in her pram/stroller for a walk along Hyde Park to High Street Kensington, it was a good walk too. Then we went to check out several shops. We eventually went to the CASS art shop, where I needed to get some fabric paints and some bits and pieces. Then, we checked out the party shop and I got to do a bit of brainstorming for my Beebee's 1st Birthday. I kind of have a fair idea what I want to do, but still going to do more brainstorming anyhow.
On our way back through Hyde Park, as we arrived at the corner of Queensway, we stopped at the Gelati/Gelato shop. I got a small cup of yummy Hazelnut flavoured gelati/gelato. Yum and refreshing. The thing I like about it is that it does not have a creamy texture like an ordinary ice-cream would.

As soon as we arrived, we had our sandwich we got from Pret De Manger (it's a french term) but we simply call it Pret hehe That's another favourite eatery place of mine, besides Starbucks. Pret make delicious fresh wraps and sandwiches, their packed sushis are delish too and their cakes, fresh juices etc. I always get carrot juice from there...nice. There's a fresh fruit juice bar nearby, so I reckon I'm going to check the place out tomorrow when Bebe and I do some adventuring together.
Okay, before I finish, I'd like to show you what I have posted on my etsy shop and will post pics of them in my website too. I'll be listing some items in my recycling section in my website.

Butterflies Have Eyes & Whiskers (front)

Butterflies Have Eyes & Whiskers (back)

reconstructed, hand-drawn & hand-sewn appliques...for more description, check in my etsy shop.
Well, what do you think? There'll be more of this coming soon. Just need to take photos of them. Taking a break from jewellery making and recycling my old clothes I don't wear any longer.
Sayonara! =)

A Thousand Apologies

I am so so sorry it has taken this long to blog..it seems as though I have been apologizing more than really getting on with it!

It sure has been a tiring week for me and i have notice a lot of other things I have to do online..like updating my website, which I have not since the last new item I listed. I tend to go on to my etsy shop to list more items there. I have also been putting some new photos on flickr, yes I am with flickr now too and still with photobucket. I'm trying to get photos off my yahoo and transfer them to either flickr or photobucket. Whichever, I really don't mind.
I have however, been making new things, improvising and reconstructing some old clothes I don't wear and some baby plain tees which I bought some time ago..for the baby tees, I put appliques, but I also do that on my old clothes too. I have been retaking more photos of my past works that still needs to be out there on my website or in etsy shop.

Then I have this blog and myspace as well..so many...ahhh how to keep and also have a baby who keeps me busy all the time.

Anyhoos...these are some work I have recently produced...what do you think?

hubby's wristcuff/wristband

One of a Kind Blue Necklace-mixes of beads and buttons

A past work I made in 2005 for a competition I did not win, but I knew I was a winner anyway..I'll need some extra time if I want to start producing more similar jewelleries such as this one. And yes, it was popular that I sold it. Made using a variety of semi-precious stones and crystals, both Chinese and Swarovski.
By the way, the wristbands are ready to be ordered..yes, I do custom mades so pop by to my Etsy shop and send me a conversation. For fabric choices, go to my website. Thanks again!

AAACHoooooooo!!!

It has been a majorly terrible 2 weeks for me. I was unsure whether I still had the leftover flu, or a painful tiring headache, which made me physically tired. Was it lack of iron?? Not enough energy boosting foods?? Depression??? Who knows..anything could have triggered my tiredness which last for 2 weeks!!!

I'm possibly worrying about two things, job which equals $$$ and going back to Uni, which costs $$$. Also, needing to save $$$ to buy a flat in 2 yrs...AAAAHHH!!!!

Today, I have been sneezing like mad, several times. I must be catching a chill, or possibly, my flu has not fully gone. I still have the lingering cough anyway. However, I have been feeling terrible like lack of iron, so I got more iron tablets and hopefully that should help me a bit more. I possibly could have not eaten well either.

And having an active baby now is quite challenging, eventhough I enjoy looking after her.

Oh well, I thought I'd give a bit of a rant about what's been happening. I made my first sale which I have put towards the RED NOSE DAY COMIC RELIEF charity. So, I did not make profit, though the profit went to charity which is still a good thing.

By the way, I have also listed a few more items on my etsy shop and my website. I have not been updating my website as much I know I should!!!

Okay, off now..Toodles!! ;)

Walking, Talking Zombie

I feel like blekkk today..Had to wake up at 7am and did not have a good sleep I don't think. Little bumble bee woke up in a frenzy and was sitting in her cot crying as if in pain. I know I should just let her be, but my weakness of her calling me "Mumma", I had to pick her up and comfort her a little wee bit.

So, just had light lunch and going to have a it of dessert for some SUGAR BUZZ. Need a bit of that for me to survive throughtout the day and then, in the evening, having dinner at my grandma's place.
I'm still yawning and it's 1:47pm!! Aaaaahhh..oh well, they did say it's healthy to wake up early anyway.

Okay, maybe do some jewellery making today..see how I feel. Hopefully a bit more energetic after the sugar buzz.
Some photos I re-took:

Don't they look so much better!!!! :)

Many apologies

Many apologies for I have not been blogging since the last time I typed on here. I caught the flu bug that was floating about and had a terrible fever..so I was feeling YUCK from top to bottom.

The good news is that now I am in tip top condition, ready to show you off my new work, which I still have yet to work. So, please excuse me and bear with the amount of time I have now to make them.

Make jewelleries and accessories I shall!

Anyhow, now that I am slowly recovering and recuperrating (is that how you spell it??) from the flu and coughing manicly, I am receiving tons and tons of inspiration running through me. I spent an hour before my eyes fully closed to dream world, thinking about the all sorts I can make and sell.

As you have noticed, I am slowly shifting my old goods on my Etsy shop, which some are still on sale there, so be quick!

I thought I'd update you on my whereabouts. I'm all well now..not 100% but I can now manage with all my might to make some funky and interesting things to come.

Best go now. Au Voir!

The moment you've been waiting for....

HEARTS2HEARTS earrings

What do you think? Do I get the thumbs up? Is your mouth watering already? Does this seem like a perfect Valentine's Day gift? And below....
Hearts2Hearts Tassling earrings (only 2 available)

To match with these lovely pieces of earrings, I have made pendants for them, although I ran out of some heart beads. There is no green one available unfortunately. But here are the pendants though! (pictured below)

They are just simply beautiful. I thought of not including the chains for this as perhaps, you would like to use a ribbon or a cord string to wear the pendant with. Together with the earrings, they cost..so here we go...drums rolling.....GBP3.30. Yup! Also, they will be wrapped nicely..a perfect V-day gift, or something to spoil yourself =). To purchase, go to my ETSY shop!!

BELOW....

I have made other stuff too..one of which is not specifically a Valentine's Day selection. Here it is..I call it the "Pearly-O-Owl"

Made using freshwater pearls, seed beads and a cute cloisonne owl pendant ;) There are only 5 pendant (including this one). I will put a clasp to it of course..which is not shown in this pic (so sorry!). I do apologise. Very lovely and delicate, don't you think? Isn't it divine!
By the way, sales end Feb 15th! So hurry! However, the unsold sale items shall still be on my website anyway. If you have questions to ask..feel free to send me an e-mail. By the way, to fellow Etsyians, I have some items which I am selling on my etsy shop. Did you notice my cool, funky banner I designed? ;)
Ok, off now...have a great weekend!

GO ECO! &weekend

go to http://www.ecoist.com

I just found this interesting website stated above which I have linked on my blog (you will notice it anyway). It focuses on handmade, recycled weaving handbags and belts. Gosh, how I wish I listened well to my art teacher back in primary school during one of the art topics on weaving. Now I know how vitally important some of the things I learnt during those time and how I could have put them in use for today!

At least, I know how to sew =) That's one good thing I have taught myself..oh and not forgetting beading as well. Tee hee hee.

I reckon I will give it a go-self-teach myself the art of weaving. I have loads of unused mags, so going to see what interesting things I can do out of them, maybe make some awesome pendants (still focusing on jewelleries and accessories).

Anyway, went to Planet Organic this evening and was looking for the energy saving light bulbs, but they ran out of those, so going to check them out on Monday, since they won't have stocks until next week. But I managed to get some food for my bumble bee, DH got some organic popcorn hehe whereas I got some yummy food for children, but for myself as they are simply delicious to be eaten. Yes, it's weird of me to do so, but it's simply yummy!!

Oh well, I do hope you all....

Alerting Jamie Oliver fans!

I just found Jamie Oliver's blog..yes...i'm such a stalker! (NO I'M NOT)

Do not forget, he did a great job starting the school dinner-healthy eating scheme. I don't think junk food are there for us to indulge on every single day and night..i reckon it's more for once a blue moon type thing, but then again, who ever invented junk food as comforting????

I'm trying to control my food intake as well...sweets once a week, then I'm thinking of progressing to once in 2 weeks then once in 3 weeks. Yes, that sounds crazy!!! But if I was at home (Kuala Lumpur) our dessert involved a variety of fresh fruits (no ice-cream) ,- i'm lactose intolerant anyway. (will discuss more on that another day)

Anyway, just to let you know I have posted J.O. blog on the blog link section. So, anyone who is looking for a great recipe to try on, there ya go!

Brainstorming

I really need to start thinking of what other stuff I can make specifically for guys. I'm hell good at the beading side of things. If only I had a sewing machine, I could have made 10 wristcuffs in a week! hehehe Pity I don't have a workshop with all sorts of tools, then maybe, MAYBE i can make glass rings. Then again, I have such a young baby, it would completely be way too impossible. Shucks!!

I'll just need to work with what I have for now....Brainstorming can be fun, but can be annoying when no inspirations.

Hey, guys out there reading this...can you give me some input please!!!

I suppose...

Yet again...

I am procrastinating!

As you can see, the little philosophical banners I have been putting on. You should be delighted to know that I have been working on a few accessories and jewelleries ready for photo-taking as well as put on my website. I have also been thinking of designs I can do the guys (I do apologize!). It's quite hard at times. I recently mailed my friend Lee's VERY late birthday present (due last March) and he totally loved it and had compliments on it too. I am also in the process of making one for my gorgeous hubby and will be making a variety more. Hopefully, it will all be done 2 weeks before V-day, so then it will be ready to be ordered, wrapped nicely and fabulously, and mailed out!

I have recently post a recently newly re-purposed pendant as you can see pictured below....

This pendant I have put it in the RE-cyc-le section, so check it out and...
