These days my mind seems to a never ending blank of nothingness. When I put words into speech, I forget totally what to say. It's quite bizarre though. When I was a child, I'd correct my mummy and daddy when they say the wrong words, even though I still do it now, it's lessen.
Anyway, moving on to other things. I had a terrific time last week, as a wonderfully, brilliant friend came for a visit all the way from Australia, via Russia ;) We did the whole shebang of going around London, well, not really, apart from walking from Hyde Park (Bayswater end) to Buckingham Palace :) nice one and my daughter, not once did she make such a fuss apart from when she was really tired, but with the loud buzzing of motor vehicles, that sort of deafened her screams. She eventually fall to sleep though which was such a relieve for me. I was still feeling tired as ever, due to the fact that bubba was unwell for the past few days and she did not sleep one whole night so I did not get sleep either! :( Yes, poor us.
But, going back on track.
Sunday, friend arrived, we picked her up from airport, then freshened up when arrived home, after I put bubba to bed, friend and I went for a walk, showed her around. And we had dinner.
Monday, we went out early for brunch. Bubba enjoyed her day eventhough it was terribly wet! That same day, we invited my other friend V and her daughter H to come over, so we enjoyed a movie (The Holiday) and some choccies from Russia. However, the same night bubba got fever, so there was no rest for either of us (me & bub).
Tues- I did nothing but rest. However, my friend S, did the whole tour thingy with the tour bus, so she managed to take lots of photos etc. Pity I missed out, really wanted to join in but was so tired!!
Wed-I was less tired. Managed to get some sleep and so did bubba. S, me and Bub went to Buckingham palace. We walked by foot while I pushed bub in her pram (lucky chickadee!) Weather was slightly better, but was still a bit went. When we got to palace, we managed to squeeze in to have a tour around the stables and got a tour guide and he showed us around which was really awesome. My first time doing this. Pity, we could not tour around in the palace itself. That would have be terrific. Oh well, maybe when we get back from holidays. That particular tour happens to take place between Aug to Sept (if anyone is interested!)
That same day, we went to Dorchester Hotel, to see if we could enjoy some scones and tea, but to our surprise, not really surprised, (hey, its dorchester hotel!) the place was over-booked, so we decided to headout and walked towards Oxford St instead. On our way, we stopped at Marriot, lucky by that time, bub has finally got over her moodiness and fell asleep so we (S & me) got to enjoy our scones and tea. Yum! After that, we went to O street. Got into Primark (dont go there in the weekend---)and I managed to buy a cute top/mini dress.
The same night, I fed Bub some milk, then S and me got ready to go out. We had a massive night and the red bull really done my head. We went to a pub (forgot the name now) Alfred something. Well, it's opp Boots store. Then we went to NUMBER ONE to dance the night away. Really enjoyed myself.
Thursday-- did nothing. We stayed in and rest. I dyed my hair Watermelon Red, S helped as well. Then we went for early dinner and got a video. The food did not energise us though, DH and I watched Pursuit of Happyness while S went to sleep (she really needed it!)
Friday--S left for Germany...boo hoo hoooo
Oh well, as for what I did, I went to Nando's for dinner with a couple of friends, then to Portobello Market on Saturday after lunch. Was lovely. Bubba enjoy the markets and the crowds too. My friends helped me as well which was great. I got lots of lovely things and now, I want to sell off my handy work stuff so I can make more $$$ and go back to market and buy more lovely brilliant things :)
Sunday--family day
So, that's it for now. Til next time! ;)
