Jewelleries to come

Okay, now, I'm going to work on making more jewelleries and accessories....yes, I have itchy fingers...they can't seem to stop making creative handcrafted pieces....

Experimentations take 2!

Okay....

1)The first pic...it started off with just a plain pale blue top, I first sewed buttons on the coloured polkadot fabrics and then i sewed these on the top. After that, I used some non-toxic fabric glue to paste a few little buttons. But before that, I used fabric crayons to draw out the flower patterns and leaves and the candy cane stripes on each sleeves, the neck collar part and the bottom part as well, and that goes same for the back part. There are no patterns on the back on the stripey bits.

2) The second pic..stripe top...was previously a turtle neck..I cut the turtle neck part and now I'm using that as a slip on neck warmer..pretty nifty huh! I reckon we should all do it often LOL
I just used black fabric pen and fabric crayons for these..simply plain simple.
Front: Petals of blossom flowers
Back: All fall like teardrops

3) The third pic...was a very plain blue top..so looked so much for a baby boy, but my daughter wears a variety of colours, not just girly ones. I thought of doing this top look not too boyish though. The fabrics I used are felt and cotton. I used non-toxic fabric pen (which writes Strawberries Fun! Strawberries Yum!) I sewed two of the strawberry patterns and used non-toxic fabric glue for the other two, but I'm going to sew them as well, incase they come off while washing...but this top is only a sample anyway.

Okie dokes....do let me know what you think of them. Ta! :)

Experimentations

A few days has passed and I have been working on a few experiments. Last week, I got a some plain baby tops and have experimented on one..it looks so cute! And then, I re-done two of my tops I hardly ever wear anymore..and yes, they are clean =p Photos are as follows.....

I'll let you know what is what on the next post....

6 months...

6 months has passed by so quickly..I remembered this time last year, I was still expecting my little petal, and along with lots of morning sickness and my cravings for beef everyday!!! Gosh, no wonder she is such a strong chickadee these days. Although, a 2 months before I gave birth, I stopped eating beef as I felt disgusted by it..sorry to those who are meat lovers. I can only handle chicken these days.

This photo was taken on Monday. It reminded me of movies of actors/actress saying, "ya know what i mean?!?" hehehe Cute!

She has been so good these days, not that she never was, but she has stopped demanding for milk every 15 to 30 minutes during the day time which made me so darn tired!
Now, she has started solids and still breastfeeding her as well. I know, 6 months later and I'm still presevering. It's good though isn't it? Well, I'm doing all the best I can for my sweetpea.

Anyway, where was I?? Oh yeah, 6 months....wow, what an achievement.

Kapoww! Kapoooh!

I just logged on to my Myspace and saw the Powerpuff Girls paper and thought of putting today's title as "Kapow!" Anyway, to everyone in the UK good morning, Down Under, South East Asia, good evening, and the rest of the world, Good mornafterevenin??? Well, I'm not so sure what the time is in America and Canada nor do I know the time in India, and the Middleeast, so take your pick..morning, afternoon and evening.

Oh well, my lil' baby girl is having a nap time, so giving me time off to do some blogging.

Anyway, yesterday, I spent my time working on two unused tops of mine..obviously I have washed them and then worked on them. I still need more done to one of the tops. Probably chop off the sleeves, and make it into a cute little vest. The other one, I'm making it colourful. Looks like mint and cherry candy canes..not the actual candy canes, but the stripes do remind me of that.

Today, I'm considering in working on a few more tops and cardigans, perhaps do some touching up on my unused clean pair of jeans and trousers, so they can be ready to be sold on my Ebay..or should I say me and my hubby's Ebay. He's thinking of selling a few bits on there too!

Last week, I got a few bargain baby plain tops for me to work on after the festivity season. These days, I've just been having lots and lots of creative brainstorming as well as a variety of inspirations to boost me on keeping myself busy working away. Of course, I have many more ideas on what to do on the jewelleries and accessories side of things; for that is my main purpose. The reason why I started working on clothing, was due to the fact that I was working on two Christmas presents for my friends and another friend's comment made me come to this decision. And I reckon I'm doing good at it. So far anyway.

I thought I have still kept the photos of the other two tops I worked on. It has to be somewhere. Hang on!

the designed top using fabric pen is for friend in AU, and the other is for another friend of mine in UK.
For the top: front part says: little pieces of my heart and the back: fluttering away into butterflies

Okay, found the piccies. Well, here are the two I worked on last week. Do let me know what you think. OK!

Oh well, it is such a lovely day today compared to yesterday, so will need to get myself and my lil darling daughter ready to go out..maybe go to the park to get a few more inspirations. Take photos here and there. Hope you all have a lovely day/night!

PS: I will post the other two tops I worked on last night, later.

welcome fellow earthlings...

Okay, don't I just sound like one of those aliens from planet Mars???
Anyway, I have nothing to do with the UFO, but don't want to get into detail. Anyway, I wanted to type more on my profile but it takes too much space and thought I'd just do it on here instead.
I make jewelleries (jewelries for some of you) and accessories. I'm planning to doddle designs and do more sewing on clothing, but that will come some time after NEW YEAR. I can't believe 2007 is coming SO SOON! I use all kinds of materials: bead, button, fabrics.....and many. I try to make a variety of jewelries (jewelleries) and accessories, and incredibly with a baby weighing on both my shoulders, I still manage to find the time to juggle on making artsy stuff, typing on livejournal and on here, updating my website as much as possible, and many more.
Perhaps, when she's older now, it is much easier. I'm glad I only have one for now....phew! Will be a long way until I have another one though....
If you'd like to preview my website, here's the link to it: http://www.freewebs.com/eclectic-b
I'm on Myspace as well if you'd like to add me and don't forget Livejournal too!
Alrighty then, I'm so sorry this is rather short. I promise I will post more tomorrow when I'm not too drained.
